Independent Mechanical Industries, Inc. (IMI) is a full service mechanical contractor specializing in the installation of mechanical equipment, power & process piping and mechanical service maintenance for central heat & cooling plants, water & waste water treatment plants, pumping stations, institutional, municipal, commercial and industrial facilities. Incorporated in 1923, IMI has been serving the mechanical contracting needs of businesses, municipalities and energy companies, for three generations. The company performs work in Illinois, northern Indiana, and southern Wisconsin.

Independent Mechanical, Inc. - Marketing Materials

Independent Mechanical was in need of marketing materials that concisely explain Independent’s different offerings and visually represented the company. Fanning Communications worked closely with Independent Mechanical to create line cards and brochures that served their needs.

CEAC – Magazine

CEAC_magazine The Chief Engineers Association of Chicagoland has been publishing their magazine, The Chief Engineer, since 1934. Fanning Communications began producing the magazine for the Association in 1999 and in 2011 undertook a visual redesign of the entire publication.

Built on the WordPress platform, Fanning Communications worked closely with the primaries to develop the content and the design of the new site so that it reflects the new business.

Village of Crestwood – The Adviser

Adviser_sample The Village of Crestwood has published their local monthly newspaper, The Adviser, for over 3 decades. The Village wanted to update the look of the newspaper to reflect the community better and to increase its content and advertising. Fanning Communications redesigned the publication and produce it monthly for the Village.

They needed to make the information offered more robust, wanted to make it easier and quicker to update and wanted the visual look of the site to reflect the greatness of the village. Fanning Communications worked closely with designated Village personnel to organize, revise and add content to the site and to make the site visually represent the Village. Fanning Communications moved the site to the WordPress platform for easier content management and then trained designated personnel on how to update and maintain content on the site.
